environment
Triage employees have an appreciation for the outdoors and enjoy working together to help preserve our natural environment. We have joined in a partnership with the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy to work on projects such as native habitat restoration, gardening on Alcatraz, trail maintenance and beach clean-up. Our partnership with the National Parks Conservancy creates a physical impact on the environment so that we can continue to enjoy San Francisco's unique natural treasures. Last year Triage employees donated over 300 hours of their time to these outdoor activities.
Triage is certified as a Green Business by the City and County of San Francisco. San Francisco encourages businesses to become more environmentally responsible. At the same time, San Francisco encourages consumers to patronize the most environmentally responsible businesses, thereby creating the virtuous cycle. To qualify for consideration as a Green Business, a company must comply with a checklist of best practices established by federal, state and local agencies. In addition to conserving energy, recycling and reducing waste, conserving water, and preventing pollution, companies must demonstrate that green practices are integrated into its normal business practices.
