supporting employeesSuffice it to say, our employees are our most valued asset and we treat them like family. That’s why we support their health and the charitable causes they care about most. This year, an employee suffered a spinal cord injury in a severe car accident. Almost every employee from both San Francisco and Atlanta demonstrated their concern, spilling out into the streets wearing Triage colors, holding balloons in support of their co-worker. The event was captured in photographs and their sentiments were captured in a photo album. The photo album was relayed from San Francisco to Atlanta, where Atlanta co-workers walked the album to our injured colleague’s hospital bedside. In his thank you note, he wrote:
Below are a few other events that our employees have participated in: Light the NightThe Leukemia and Lymphoma Society organizes this illuminated evening walk that raises awareness of blood cancers and raises money to fund research for cures. For many years, scores of Triage employees have participated in the walk, carrying illuminated white and red balloons to show their continued support for this important event. Providian RelayThe Providian Relay raises money for Organs 'R' Us, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting organ donation. This year, 36 Triage employees split into 3 groups and participated in what is known as "California's Longest Relay Race." The relay begins in Calistoga, winds through the mountains and ends at the boardwalk in Santa Cruz . With a mix of rookie runners and experienced marathoners, new hires and Principals, men and women, every single participant helped their team complete the 199-mile course. The experience is invigorating, the memories are truly priceless, and the friendships forged are unforgettable. Bay to BreakersTriagers dress up for "one CRAZY weekend" during the month of May in San Francisco. The Bay to Breakers 12K race, better described as a nomadic costume party, begins at the Embarcadero and ends at Ocean Beach. The beneficiaries of this quintessential San Francisco event are the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Organs 'R' Us, and the Sports Medicine Institute.
