founders' day

To celebrate the founding of our company, each spring we take the funds we would have used for a social gathering and, instead, invest it in organizations in our community that do not have the funds or the manpower to accomplish their “dream projects”. Some of the events at our most recent Founders' Day included building a play structure at an orphanage, hosting a casino day at a senior center, restoring a garden on Alcatraz Island and taking inner-city high school juniors on a field trip to the University of California at Berkeley. Moreover, for the third year in a row, we did an "Extreme Makeover" of rooms at Family House, a home for families with children undergoing treatment at UCSF for life-threatening illnesses. We transformed additional rooms with new paint, furniture and artwork. It’s all in a day’s work at Triage.
