2008 Triage Good Works Report
"Being committed to the social, environmental and health of our employees and communities is integral – not extracurricular – to the business of Triage. Triage has an unwavering dedication to grow the profitability of our hospital clients because their mission is to serve their communities, especially the poor. We’re not just looking to write a check and then not have a partnership with the organization or understand the issues. Everything we do is hands-on. That’s our style. We look for ways to have a ripple effect, encourage people to donate and provide a creative vision of what’s possible. Our commitment means that we demand results from all of our corporate initiatives, rather than merely accounting for time or money spent. Have we inspired immigrant students to read at grade-level at our partner schools? As our business responsibly grows, so, too, have we grown the sustainability of our environment? Have we sustained uprooted families who, by providing loving support, improve clinical outcomes of their hospitalized children? Have we attracted and retained outstanding, like-minded, employees? ![]() As you will read in our third annual Good Works Report, the answer to all these questions is a resounding, “Yes”! We’re excited to report all the initiatives of our co-workers but, even more excited to tell you how, collectively, we’re making a significant impact on our community. In 2007, Triage employees in both San Francisco and Atlanta produced many imaginative and impactful community events which drew record numbers of employees to participate. As a result, San Francisco and Atlanta are both better places to live. We are proud that, once again, we enjoyed 100% employee participation in one or more of our volunteer projects. To many of our employees, a balanced and fulfilled life includes giving back to the community. Given our intense travel schedules and hectic lives, without Triage’s policy of paid volunteerism, it would be hard to achieve that fulfillment. In the end, we must ask ourselves a final question. Have we raised the consciousness of our employees about the power of “we” and how impactful – together – we can be? We hope that you are inspired by your co-workers, and proud of what, together, we have accomplished in 2007. Moving forward, can we do more together?" - The Principals
