our philosophy
Minimum hands clean. Maximum impact. Not just employees.
"Some very strongly-held beliefs have shaped Triage. We believe how we make our money is more important than how much money we make. We believe that service – our number one guiding principle – trumps profitability. We believe that service extends beyond our clients to our community. We believe in compassionate capitalism; that is, doing good is an integral part of doing well. The mission of our hospital clients is to serve the community, especially the poor, un(der)insured members of the community. By helping our clients generate significant amounts of cash and income – over $1 billion to date – Triage’s consulting work goes a long, long way towards helping our clients reach their mission. Our corporate social responsibility mission is to make the greatest impact upon our community that we possibly can. As a company, we can do more than help our clients provide healthcare to the poor in our community. For this same population, we: (1) augment the curriculum for ESL students, (2) conserve the environment, (3) support families of our clients’ youngest and most critically-ill patients and (4) support our colleagues’ health and areas of philanthropic passions.
I am proud that, once again, we enjoyed 100% employee participation in one or more of our volunteer projects. To many of our employees, a balanced and fulfilled life includes taking time to give back to the community. Given our intense travel schedules and hectic lives, without Triage’s policy of paid volunteer hours, it would be hard to achieve that fulfillment.” - Patti Lee-Hoffmann, Principal
