In this entry level, client-facing consulting role you will:

  • Work with insurance companies to recover additional payments for our hospital clients, including follow-up calls and written appeals;
  • Deliver premium client service through effective verbal and written communication in order to identify client (hospital) needs, perform reviews, provide recommendations, and communicate project results;
  • Closely examine contract language and translate into data modeling to facilitate proper pricing using Triage software platforms;
  • Support algorithm research, development, and maintenance for the purpose of processing hospital data to identify underpayments;
  • Interact effectively with Triage internal teams to assist data reviews or claim resolution, clarify project or client-specific processes;
  • Continue to innovate Triage’s review process through research, data analytics, and trending;
  • Research and proactively apply new hospital regulations and legislations;
  • Work effectively on a dynamic team; Organize, automate, and record team processes for training and documentation keeping;
  • Participate in Triage’s training programs, periodic teambuilding events, and volunteer activities;
  • Comply with HIPAA privacy standards at all times and display a high level of professionalism when handling patient medical records

Who we’re looking for:

  • BS/BA – Economics/Business/Science preferred, all Majors are encouraged to apply;
  • Minimum GPA 3.0;
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills;
  • Self-starter who is eager to learn, and can work both independently and in a team environment;
  • Detail-oriented, with demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks;

In this entry-level, internal role you will:

  • Support algorithm research, development, and maintenance for the purpose of processing hospital data to uncover medical reporting inaccuracies that lead to underpayments;
  • Mine, research, and identify treatment patterns to identify predictive indicators of care;
  • Drive new discoveries and knowledge depth related to clinical focus areas, including medical coding, charge capture, billing and CDI practices;
  • Conduct patient specific clinical documentation research to validate hospital reporting;
  • Analyze and apply Managed Care contract details to facilitate proper pricings;
  • Interact effectively with consulting teams to perform reviews, provide recommendations, and communicate project results for Triage’s clients;
  • Utilize Triage and client software platforms to manage account information and workflow between internal departments and consulting teams;
  • Continue to innovate Triage review process through research, data analytics, and trending;
  • Participate in Triage’s recruiting and training programs, periodic teambuilding events, and socially responsible activities;
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with Triage’s upper management;
  • Work effectively on dynamic teams every day.

  • Resolve claims from commercial, government, and/or workers’ compensation insurance plans;
  • Maintain timely and professional follow-up on open issues, both over the phone and by written appeal;
  • Understand and articulate claim and contract details to interested parties to facilitate proper billing and reimbursement;
  • Continual analysis and quality control of underpayment risk areas to ensure audit accuracy;
  • Prioritize inquiries from key stakeholders and assist with project-specific tasks and reporting
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with key stakeholders and upper management;
  • Contribute to reporting Utilize Triage and client software platforms to manage account information and workflow;
  • Participate in Triage’s recruiting and training programs, periodic teambuilding events, and socially responsible activities;
  • Work effectively on dynamic teams every day.

  • Bachelor’s Degree;
