- Brian NeeceBrian Neece
PrincipalBrian joined Triage in 1999 with a variety of consulting and technical experience. At each point in his career, Brian’s focus has been heavily concentrated on financial operations. Consulting engagements prior to Triage included overhauling cash disbursement processes, automating treasury and cash management functions and consolidating physician billing operations. In addition to healthcare, his industry experience includes retail, software and financial services. Day to day, Brian is involved in project management as well as managing the firm’s administrative and operational needs. Brian received a BS in Information Systems from Rochester Institute of Technology and a MBA in Finance from New York University.
- James HebertJames Hebert
FounderJim began his healthcare consulting career in 1992 on a managed care payment review project for a Bay Area hospital. Since that time he has focused his efforts primarily on managed care payment reviews, working with hospitals to ensure that their payers are complying with the payment provisions of their contracts. In 1994, Jim joined Rich Griffith and Patti Lee-Hoffmann to create Triage Consulting Group. Prior to his work as a healthcare consultant, Jim held CFO/Controller positions with two publicly traded companies and was a CPA with Arthur Andersen & Co. from 1979 to 1985. He is an HFMA Fellow and is CHFP certified. Jim received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
- Patricia Lee–HoffmannPatricia Lee–Hoffmann
FounderPatti’s wide array of managed care experience includes marketing, contract financial analysis and contract negotiations in addition to payment reviews. Patti’s expertise also includes pediatric hospitals, risk pool settlements under capitation arrangements and expert witness analysis and testimony in legal proceedings. Serving over 50 hospital clients across the nation, she brings considerable experience to the firm. Patti is an ex officio member of the Training, Culture and Social Responsibility Squads and of the editorial board of the Triage Book Club. She serves on boards and leadership councils for local, national and global organizations devoted to education, families and children.
- Richard GriffithRichard Griffith
FounderWith more than 30 years of practical experience in all aspects of hospital financial management, Rich has consulted with numerous clients in the areas of managed care, accounts receivable, and charge quality management. In 1994, Rich joined Patti Lee-Hoffmann and Jim Hebert to form Triage Consulting Group. Rich has presented managed care topics at healthcare industry meetings in California, Colorado, Washington, Oregon and Nevada. Prior to his work in healthcare consulting, Rich was the CFO of Seton Health Services and Seton Medical Center in the San Francisco area, and was a CPA with Arthur Andersen and Co. from 1974 to 1986. Rich received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. Rich retired from day-to-day activities at Triage in 2007. He continues to serve on the Triage Board of Directors and 401k Investment Committee.
- Sean AlaviSean Alavi
PrincipalSean began his healthcare consulting career in 1994 when he joined Triage Consulting Group at its inception. He left to pursue a graduate degree and followed that up with 4 years in the Management Consulting practice of Cap Gemini and 2 years in the Corporate Strategies group of a Financial Services institution. He re-joined Triage in 2005 to help launch Triage’s Atlanta office.Sean received his B.A. in Economics and B.S. in Biology from the University of California - San Diego. He received his MBA from the University of North Carolina.
Rich Griffith, Patti Lee-Hoffmann, and Jim Hebert founded Triage Consulting Group in 1994 to help hospitals manage the increasingly challenging financial demands on their operations.
These three leaders had already accrued dozens of years of specialized experience as Chief Financial Officers, healthcare consultants, and CPAs when they founded Triage. Together with the firm's corporate officers and other Directors, they provide ongoing governance on Triage's operations.

- Andy StemmlerAndy Stemmler
Andy joined Triage in 1999 and was promoted to Principal in 2009. He’s had the pleasure of working with some of the largest names in healthcare including HCA, Catholic Health Initiatives, Tenet, Dignity Health, St. Joseph Heath, Centura Health, and BJC Healthcare. Andy has extensive experience with all forms of hospital reimbursement (e.g. commercial, self-funded, government), and specific expertise in litigation support, coordination of benefits, Workers' Compensation, and Medicare. He is actively involved in business development, and oversees recruitment efforts in Triage’s San Francisco office.
Andy is a member of HFMA’s Greater St. Louis Chapter and received his BA in Economics from UC Davis and MBA from St. Mary’s College of California. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his sons’ baseball teams, and watching sports.
- April BuescherApril Buescher
April joined Triage in 2006 and was promoted to Principal in 2016. During this time, she has worked with a variety of hospitals performing and leading retrospective payment reviews that have helped her clients recover millions of dollars in lost revenue. She’s also worked on a broad range of revenue cycle projects to meet the diverse needs of her clients across multiple states, including California, Texas, and Washington.
Within the firm, she has been involved in various ongoing initiatives, including recruiting, compliance, and operations. She was part of a dedicated unit that helped develop, enforce, and train staff on compliance standards and protocols. She is an active member of HFMA.
April graduated from the University of California – Davis with a B.A. in Economics and Psychology. Outside of work, she enjoys open water swimming, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
- Ariana ZibilichAriana Zibilich
Ariana joined Triage in 2000 upon graduating from the University of San Francisco with a degree in Economics. After spending 9 years in the San Francisco office, Ariana joined the management team in Atlanta, where she is currently based. Her clients include rural stand alone hospitals, children’s facilities, major academic medical centers, and large multi-facility health systems throughout the southeast. Internally, Ariana also oversees Triage’s Corporate Social Responsibility Program and Knowledge Group in the Atlanta office.
Ariana has been actively involved with HFMA since 2006. She earned her CHFP designation in 2011 and become a Fellow of HFMA in 2012. She is currently on the board for the North Carolina Chapter, serving as the Director of Membership; and previously served as the Managed Care Committee Chair from 2012-2013. Ariana is also a member of the Southeastern Regional Council for MedShare, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the efficient recovery and redistribution of medical supplies to underserved healthcare facilities around the world. She joined their board in 2014.
Ariana was born and raised in California and enjoys yoga, traveling, and almost any outdoor activity.
- Brad NielsenBrad Nielsen
Director Workers' CompensationBrad joined Triage in 2006 and was promoted to Director in 2017. He has enjoyed running Payment Review projects (including Workers' Compensation Revenue Management, $0 balance review, aged and complex A/R resolution, and other revenue enhancement projects) for some of the largest names in U.S. healthcare; including HCA, Tenet, St. Joseph Health, and Adventist Health, in addition to several independent hospitals. Brad has in-depth experience with the hospital revenue cycle and managed care contracting, but specializes in CA Workers’ Compensation where he helps lead Triage's practice area; including project management, operations, knowledge advancement, technology/innovation, and business development. Brad is also a member of HFMA (Southern CA Chapter) and sits on their Revenue Cycle & Managed Care Committee. Brad received his B.A. in Economics from UC San Diego and his M.B.A. from Saint Mary’s College of California. Outside of the office he enjoys spending time with his family and friends; and anything outdoors, especially fly fishing and golf.
- Brandon HollandBrandon Holland
Brandon joined Triage in 2005 after graduating from the University of North Carolina with a degree Health Policy and Administration. He was promoted to Principal in 2014 after managing projects of all sizes throughout the country. He currently oversees Comprehensive Payment Review projects in various states including Georgia, New Jersey, Virginia and Texas and has extensive experience with contract analysis projects and client trainings.
Internally, Brandon oversees recruitment efforts in Triage’s Atlanta office, serves on the Career Development committee, and is one of the company’s internal experts on Blue Cross Blue Shield reimbursement. He is also an active member of HFMA.
- Carole CritchlowCarole Critchlow
Director Internal ApplicationsCarole joined Triage in 2006 after graduating from Stanford University with a B.S. in Symbolic Systems (a blend of computer science, linguistics, psychology, and philosophy). After managing payment review projects for hospital systems throughout California and the Pacific Northwest and leading Triage’s internal Applications Group, she earned promotion to Director in 2017 and now manages the development of Triage’s internal database platform, software applications, and suite of analysis tools. Carole’s outside interests include watching live music, traveling, sports, cooking, and reading.
- Chris ClaytonChris Clayton
Since joining Triage in 2002, Chris has assisted hospitals and health systems with retrospective payment reviews, aged and complex receivables resolution, litigation support, and other revenue cycle enhancement projects. While his clients are predominantly located in California and Texas, Chris also has experience with hospitals, payers, and reimbursement programs in Alaska, Idaho, Nevada, and Utah. He serves as Triage's internal expert on Workers' Compensation with additional expertise in ERISA, Silent PPO, UCR, TRICARE, Medi-Cal, and Medicare. Chris advises the Hospital Association of Southern California and the Hospital Council of Northern and Central California on topics related to denial management and claims adjudication best practices, and also assists the California Hospital Association in matters relating to Workers’ Compensation.
Chris graduated with honors from the University of California – San Diego with a B.S. in Management Science. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, surfing, gardening, cooking, travelling, and spending time with family.
- Damon LewisDamon Lewis
Mr. Lewis joined Triage in 2010 and brings more than 16 years of financial management and consulting experience to his current role. Prior to joining Triage, Damon was the Audit Partner-in-Charge for Sensiba San Filippo, LLP, an accounting firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Mr. Lewis began his career at Arthur Andersen LLP and has served clients in the healthcare, manufacturing, technology, and venture capital industries. He is a Certified Public Accountant and received his B.A. in History from the University of California, Los Angeles.
- Dan PhippenDan Phippen
Mr. Phippen joined Triage in 2000 and was promoted to principal in 2009. During that time, he has helped his clients recover millions of dollars in lost revenue due to insurance underpayments, while working with hospital CFOs to bolster revenue cycle processes and managed care directors to improve payer performance.
Dan has extensive experience in most healthcare reimbursement models including fee-for-service, managed care, workers' compensation, Medicare, Medicaid, and TRICARE, and is well-versed in several patient financial accounting systems. He is an active member of HFMA and has collaborated with his clients to perform litigation support and create customized trainings.
Now based out of Atlanta, Dan oversees internal squads on business development, recruiting, and staff development. Dan graduated with honors from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Political Economy of Industrial Societies.
- Erika ViaErika Via
Director MedicareSince joining Triage Consulting Group in 2009, Erika has overseen a variety of Comprehensive Payment Review engagements for hospitals in Virginia, Georgia, Louisiana, and Texas, and she currently serves as the Director of Triage’s Medicare Review Team. She specializes in Medicare hospital reimbursement and regulations, is a certified outpatient coder, and is one of the company’s experts on ICD-10 and general billing and coding guidelines. Erika and her team have successfully coordinated with CMS and Medicare Administrative Contractors to resolve errors identified in the Medicare Code Editor, Integrated Outpatient Code Editor, and Local Coverage Determinations. Her team oversees Triage’s Medicare audits, research, and recovery efforts in addition to leading client trainings and providing solutions to resolve billing and coding related revenue leaks. Erika has a BS in Biology (2009) and an MBA (2018) from Georgia Tech.
- Ilene DeSarroIlene DeSarro
PrincipalIlene joined Triage in 2008 after graduating from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Business Administration. She was promoted to Principal in 2017 after leading zero balance payment reviews for wide range of for-profit and not-for-profit health systems across the US, resulting in millions recovered for her hospital clients. She currently oversees engagements in Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, Indiana, Connecticut, and New York. Internally, Ilene leads the Atlanta office’s PHI Compliance efforts, serves on the Career Development Team, and oversees Marketing and Business Development on the East Coast. Finally, Ilene is an active member of HFMA, the nation's premier membership organization for healthcare finance leaders.
- Jennifer SewellJennifer Sewell
Director Resolution ServicesJennifer joined Triage Consulting in 2009 after receiving her BBA in Marketing from The University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. Jennifer has been a part of the Atlanta office’s Resolution Services Group (RSG) since inception and now as the Director of RSG, leads the 45 person+ department responsible for account billing, follow-up, and resolution. Jennifer is also involved in Triage’s internal training efforts for both the Associate and Analyst track. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys traveling, entertaining, and spending time with her family.
- Jessica EzrineJessica Ezrine
PrincipalJessica joined Triage in August 2008 and was promoted to Principal in 2018. She oversees Comprehensive Payment Review projects for clients in Georgia, Illinois and Texas. Jessica brings experience managing projects for multi-hospital systems, teaching/university facilities, and children’s hospitals throughout the United States. Jessica is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), and received her Certified Healthcare Financial Professional certification in 2017. Jessica spent many years developing the recruitment efforts at Triage, and now oversees the internal Training Program for the Atlanta office. Jessica has a Bachelor of Business of Administration degree from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
- Jon KollererJon Kollerer
PrincipalJon has led Payment Review, A/R Recovery, and Litigation Support engagements for hospitals and health systems in California, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Oregon, Nebraska, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington. Based out of San Francisco, he leads knowledge and product development groups focused on ICD-10 coding and DRG grouping. Jon is a member of the Lone Star chapter of HFMA. Jon joined Triage in 2005 after graduating from Cal Poly San Louis Obispo with a degree in Finance and Accounting. When there is time, he enjoys scuba diving, rugby (no longer playing), and the outdoors; however, Jon and his wife spend most of their time chasing around their young daughter.
- Juliet ValkoskyJuliet Valkosky
Juliet joined Triage Consulting Group in January of 2009. She has worked for hospital clients in California, Oregon, and Texas, including large health systems and academic facilities. Juliet is also a member of Triage’s Social Responsibility Squad and has organized events for a local Elementary School. Prior to joining Triage, Juliet graduated Magna Cum Laude earning her B.A. in Psychology from Saint Michael’s College and graduated Summa Cum Laude earning her M.A. in Kinesiology from San Jose State University. Outside of work, Juliet enjoys cooking, baking and spending time with her family in Vermont.
- Katelyn SchietromaKatelyn Schietroma
Katelyn joined Triage in 2010 and was promoted to Manager in 2015. She has led payment review projects for hospital clients in Tennessee, Texas, North Carolina and Florida. Katelyn is a member of the Triage Training Committee and Triage Knowledge Group, specializing in Veterans' Administration payment review. Prior to joining Triage, Katelyn earned her BBA from Emory's Goizueta Business School. Outside of work, Katelyn likes to travel, explore Atlanta restaurants and spend time with family and friends.
- Kiet LamKiet Lam
Mr. Lam joined Triage in 2000 after receiving a Masters degree in Health Services Management from UCLA’s School of Public Health. Prior to completing his MPH degree, he worked at Cedars-Sinai Health Systems in the Resource and Outcomes Measurement Group where he analyzed cost and clinical trends to support process improvement efforts. In addition to servicing a wide range of hospital clients across the west coast, he helps direct Triage’s internal reimbursement research group and is actively involved in enhancing Triage’s products and services.
Mr. Lam earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Molecular Cell Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles. He currently co-chairs the Revenue Cycle Committee for HFMA’s Southern California Chapter and has spoken at various education seminars.
- Lauren ColemanLauren Coleman
Director Legal Services
Lauren joined Triage in 2007, after graduating UCSD with a B.S. in Management Science. In her earlier years at Triage, Lauren participated in and managed Payment Review projects, which involved analyzing hospital patient account data to identify underpayments pursuant to contractual agreements and government fee schedules, utilizing hospital systems to identify the documents supporting the underpayment, as well as working with hospital personnel to resolve coding and/or billing issues identified in the course of the analysis. Since joining Triage’s Legal Services team in 2013, Lauren has managed the escalation of underpayment issues from project teams across the firm, as well as participated in and managed Triage’s litigation support services. Her experience in both of these roles has required her to serve in the expert witness role, in which she produced an expert report and provided testimony as necessary. Her work on the Legal Service Team lead to her promotion to Director of Legal Services in 2017. In addition to Lauren’s legal work, she serves on the leadership board for Triage’s Knowledge Group, where she guides TKG’s Experts on their research and development of underpayment risk areas. Lauren also conducts her own research relating to her specialties: pharmaceutical reimbursement, provider manual policies, self-funded/ERISA plans, silent PPO, and UCR. Outside of Triage, Lauren enjoys traveling with her family, cooking for friends, and waterskiing or golfing when the opportunity presents itself.
- Laurence HarrisLaurence Harris
Mr. Harris joined Triage in 2000 after graduating from UCSD with degrees in Economics and Biology. He is an active member of HFMA having achieved CHFP (Certified Healthcare Financial Professional) distinction. His volunteer work with the Georgia chapter has earned him the Most Valuable Member and Most Valuable New Member awards.
After six years in the San Francisco office, Laurence moved to Atlanta in 2006 as part of the management team for Triage’s second office. His current clients run the gamut from large multi-facility health systems in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Indiana, to varying size facilities in Georgia. He also heads up Triage’s Medicare Compliance Committee, manages the IT and office infrastructure needs for the Atlanta office and coordinates marketing efforts in Georgia and the Midwest.
An avid reader and sometimes runner, he also enjoys the occasional home improvement project. But as a father of four he spends most of his non-work time chasing around his beautiful daughters and smiling sons.
- Luke StillsonLuke Stillson
Director Internal Software Implementation
Luke joined Triage in 2009 after graduating with Highest Distinction from UNC Chapel Hill with a BS in Business Administration. He was promoted to the Manager position in 2014 and has led projects for nationwide clients as well as private facilities in Florida, Texas, Georgia, and Ohio. Luke currently leads the Atlanta portion of the Triage Application Group, developing products for internal use. He is also in charge of developing and maintaining Triage’s Medicare Inpatient Pricing software. Outside of work, Luke enjoys being in the outdoors, exploring Atlanta, and riding his motorcycle.
- Margaret MarianiMargaret Mariani
Margaret joined Triage Consulting Group in 2009 after graduating from UCLA with a BS in Mathematics/Economics. During her time at Triage, Margaret has conducted payment reviews for various hospitals throughout California and Oregon. Margaret serves as one of Triage’s internal experts on Workers’ Compensation and is also a member of Triage’s Social Responsibility squad, having coordinated events to benefit community partners. She is also involved in Triage’s Applications Group, contributing to tools developed for payment review. In her spare time, Margaret enjoys traveling and exploring new restaurants in San Francisco.
- Mark SithiMark Sithi
PrincipalMark joined Triage in 2005 and graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.S. in Business Administration and B.A. in Economics. Mark’s consulting experience includes payment review projects for hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers, cash acceleration projects for legacy system A/R and complex accounts, and payer contract analyses for hospital acquisitions and affiliations.
Internally, Mark leads Triage’s internal Software Applications team which is responsible for innovating, designing, and engineering new technology solutions for Triage.
- Matt CutlerMatt Cutler
Since joining Triage in 2001, Matt has worked in various capacities serving clients throughout the western United States. Currently, he works with several California-based health systems and with providers in Texas, Arizona, and Nebraska. Matt's clients range from rural stand-alone hospitals to major national health systems. He is an active committee member of the Arizona Chapter of HFMA. Internally, Matt works on Triage's Investment Committee and helps coordinate Triage’s West Coast marketing efforts.
Matt graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a B.A. in International Economics and a minor in Spanish. In his free time, Matt enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with his wife, Cindy, and their sons, John and Ryan.
- Natalie KlotscheNatalie Klotsche
Since joining Triage in 2002, Natalie has worked extensively with Hospitals in California, Washington, Nevada, and Arizona on Managed Care, Medicare, Medicaid, and Workers’ Compensation underpayment recovery projects. In addition to her experience at Triage, she held positions at the Department of Managed Healthcare, and the California Hospital Association where she focused on Health Plan compliance and reimbursement issues at the regulatory level.
With clients ranging from rural stand-alone hospitals to major health systems and teaching institutions, Natalie has helped her clients by recovering lost revenue, providing timely feedback on risk, and making practical recommendations to mitigate future leakage. In addition to underpayment recovery projects, Natalie performs Accountable Care Organization consulting services including project management, data analytics, and strategic planning on behalf of a major health system.
Natalie oversees our internal Connect squad which focuses on creating initiatives and platforms to keep our staff connected, which in turn, enhances their overall experience at the firm. Natalie graduated from California Polytechnic University with a degree in Economics and a concentration in Management.
- Paul WrightPaul Wright
PrincipalPaul joined Triage January 2002. He oversees Comprehensive Payment Review projects for clients in Texas, Washington, Minnesota, California and Louisiana. Paul has also worked with clients in Colorado, Kansas, Oregon, Montana, Missouri, and North Dakota, and on ACO and Medicaid payment methodology consulting projects. Paul is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), and an active participant with both the Minnesota and Texas Gulf Coast Chapters. Paul works on Triage’s internal Resource Allocation committee with a focus on Manager staffing and also serves on Triage’s Career Development committee. Paul has BS and MS degrees in Biology from Stanford University.
- Scott LynchScott Lynch
Head of Product
Scott graduated from UC Berkeley in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Business. During his time at Berkeley, he served as philanthropy chair and president of his fraternity, worked as a debt analyst at a local law firm, and spent a year as a coxswain on the crew team. As a senior, Scott completed a semester-long consulting project for Target which focused on streamlining the company's future policies and regulations. Scott loves to hike, bodysurf, travel, and watch movies and college football.
- Stacey RiveraStacey Rivera
Stacey joined Triage in 2002 after graduating from U.C. Berkeley with a degree in Biology. She has overseen a variety of Comprehensive Payment Review projects for hospitals in California, Washington, Texas, and Idaho. Stacey specializes in Medicare payment methodologies and regulations, working directly with project teams to execute audits and ensure compliance with existing Medicare regulations, while also monitoring industry changes.
- Troy DonovielTroy Donoviel
PrincipalTroy joined Triage in 1996 and has served as a Principal for more than 10 years. Troy is primarily responsible for the management, development and delivery of consulting services to healthcare providers, focusing on payment variance analysis and compliance. His work involves the management and analysis of complex data sets of hospital demographic, financial and clinical information. Troy has in-depth knowledge of and experience with contract structures, reimbursement methodologies, hospital patient accounting systems, hospital billing and collection practices, claims handling and payment practices of most managed care organizations, and the effect of UB-04 (hospital claim) data elements and clinical coding (ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS) on reimbursement. Troy has performed and led Payment Review and other consulting projects in California, Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Texas and Washington for dozens of hospitals and health systems, including recent engagements with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Sutter Health, Catholic Health Initiatives, MultiCare Health System and Kaiser. He is the primary provider of expert witness and litigation support services for Triage, and provides principal oversight of Triage’s technology and security infrastructure, operations and personnel.
Troy graduated with a B.S. degree in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis. He is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional.
- Vanessa DrakeVanessa Drake
Vanessa joined Triage in the summer of 2004 and has since worked with clients in Arizona, California, Nevada, Texas, and Washington. Vanessa has worked with stand-alone Children’s Hospitals to large healthcare systems and has expertise working with a variety of underpayment risk areas: including coordination of benefits, AP-DRG payment systems, and APC based payment systems. In addition, Vanessa has worked closely with her clients on contract analysis and litigation support projects. Vanessa is involved with various internal business initiatives and currently participates in Triage’s committee overseeing standardization and enhancement of Triage’s internal processes. Vanessa graduated from the University of California at Davis with a B.S. in Biological Sciences.
- Amy ChengAmy Cheng
After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley, Amy joined the Triage team in January 2006. She was promoted to Senior Associate in 2007, and after more than three years of project management experience, she transitioned to Operations in 2011. Her role specifically focuses on data analytics and resource allocation in order to address Triage’s operational needs. Outside of work, Amy enjoys traveling the world, attending concerts, and photography.
- Andrew MistrettaAndrew Mistretta
Andrew joined Triage in 2010 after graduating from the University of Georgia with degrees in Economics and Political Science. He was promoted to the Manager position in 2015 after leading projects for nationwide hospital chains and large teaching facilities in Georgia, Michigan, Texas and Illinois. In addition to overseeing projects, Andrew is involved in Triage’s Training Squad by overseeing technical skill development and Triage’s internal process improvement group. - Kirbi LambKirbi Lamb
Kirbi joined Triage in 2011 after graduating from the University of Georgia with a BBA in Management. Kirbi was promoted to Manager in 2016 and has led projects for nationwide hospital chains as well as private facilities in Georgia, California, Texas, Nevada, New Jersey, and South Carolina. As a member of Triage Knowledge Group Leadership, Kirbi oversees Triage’s internal Medicaid team and coordinates knowledge sharing among teams. Kirbi also teaches Revenue Cycle, Risk Areas, and Contracts training modules. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, cooking, and traveling.
- Alex FarrokhianAlex Farrokhian
Alex joined Triage in 2009 after graduating from UC Berkeley with a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology. She leads comprehensive reviews in California, Kansas, and Colorado that range from stand-alone hospitals to large academic facilities and multi-facility health systems. Alex serves on Triage’s internal Compliance Committee which monitors, trains, and innovates around PHI security. Alex is passionate about promoting Associate and Senior Associate development on her teams and as a lead for the formal Senior Associate training program.
- Allegra WinegarAllegra Winegar
Allegra joined Triage in 2010, and was promoted to the Manager position in 2015. She has worked on comprehensive payment review and cash acceleration projects with hospital clients in California, Texas, Oregon and Washington, including both academic facilities and large health systems. She now manages the product team developing the software applications and analytics tools used to deliver Triage’s payment review products. Allegra graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior and minor in Art History. Outside of work, Allegra enjoys skiing, traveling, running and live music.
- Anna BraginskyAnna Braginsky
Anna joined Triage Consulting Group in September of 2011. She has worked for clients in California, Washington, and Texas, including large health systems, academic and children’s facilities. Anna is an active member of Triage’s Social Responsibility and Recruiting squads. Prior to Triage, Anna attended UC San Diego, where she graduated with Magna Cum Laude in Management Science and a minor in Accounting. Outside of work, Anna participates in her local martial arts studio and holds a black belt in Shorin-Ryu karate and Taekwondo. She enjoys entertaining family and friends, discovering new culinary gems, traveling and painting.
- Brianna SprakerBrianna Spraker
Brianna plans and executes Triage's corporate events calendar, is involved in various operational initiatives, and oversees the office administration team. Brianna also assists with internal communications and the development of marketing materials. After joining Triage in 2010, Brianna worked on a variety of Comprehensive Payment Review projects and was a member of the Legal Support Services team. Brianna graduated with honors from the University of California Los Angeles earning a B.A. in Communications.
- Bryn WoodwardBryn Woodward
Bryn joined Triage Consulting Group in 2009 and was promoted to Manager in 2015 after overseeing a variety of Comprehensive Payment Review projects for large and small California hospitals and health systems. Bryn currently specializes in Medicare hospital reimbursement and regulations and manages Triage’s internal Medicare Review Team. As a certified outpatient coder, Bryn serves on the Billing and Coding team, Recode Approvals team, and the ICD-10 team. Prior to Triage, Bryn earned her BS in Psychobiology from UCLA and worked as EMT. In her spare time, Bryn enjoys reading, exploring San Francisco, and hosting dinner parties.

ManagerCam joined Triage Consulting Group in 2013 after graduating from the University of Georgia with degrees in Economics and History. He was promoted to the Manager position in 2018 after leading payment review projects for hospital clients in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Ohio, and New York. Cam is a member of the Social Responsibility Squad’s leadership team at Triage and heads up Experienced Associate training. In his free time, Cam enjoys playing sports, the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

Derek graduated from UC Davis in 2008, earning his BS in Managerial Economics. His previous professional experience includes managing the organic category for a produce firm in San Diego and working on several state and federal campaigns. Outside of work Derek enjoys traveling, camping, and expanding his comic book collection.

Manager Human ResourcesHelen started as an Associate with Triage in 2013 after graduating from the University of Georgia with a degree in Accounting. She was promoted to Senior Associate in 2014, and after 2 plus years of project management experience, she transitioned into Human Resources and was promoted to HR Manager in 2018. Her areas of responsibility include career development, resource allocation, and overall employee engagement. Outside of work, Helen enjoys travelling, cheering on her Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldawgs, and enjoying a Ted’s bison burger with her family.

ManagerJennifer Hamilton joined Triage Consulting Group in 2012 after graduating from Stanford with a degree in Human Biology. She has conducted payment reviews for hospitals and health systems across California, Washington, Colorado and Arizona, including a Workers’ Compensation Revenue Management engagement. Jennifer led recruiting efforts on campus prior to her promotion in 2017 and continues to oversee Triage's recruiting efforts as a Manager. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, skiing, and rooting on the Stanford Cardinal.

ManagerJordan Strang joined Triage in 2013 after graduating from Emory University with BAs in Economics and Environmental Studies. Jordan was promoted to Manager in 2018 and has led payment review projects for hospitals clients in Illinois, Pennsylvania, and Texas. Jordan is a member of the Triage Recruiting Management and Green Squad. Outside of work, Jordan likes to travel, explore Atlanta restaurants and spend time with family and friends.

ManagerJustin joined Triage in 2013 after graduating from Colby College with a degree in Economics and History. He has led payment review projects in California, Texas, Nebraska, Michigan, and Idaho; including multi-facility health systems, stand-alone hospitals, and cancer centers. Justin also participates in the Recruiting leadership committee. Outside of work, Justin enjoys playing basketball and travelling.

In addition to overseeing projects, Katie is a member of Triage’s Training Committee and serves as an implant specialist for the Triage Knowledge Group. Outside of work, Katie enjoys traveling, running, and spending time with family and friends.

Katrina graduated from UC San Diego in 2008 with a B.S. in Management Science. She joined Triage Consulting Group in 2010 after working abroad with Deutsche Bank in London. During her time at Triage, Katrina has worked for various hospital clients throughout California including large multi-facility health systems as well as small community hospitals. When not at work, she enjoys traveling, reading, and exploring new restaurants in the city.

Laura joined Triage Consulting Group in 2011 after graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where she graduated cum laude and earned her BS in Business Administration. She has served clients in California and Texas, and has specific experience in resolving issues for cancer facilities, trauma facilities, and multi-facility health systems. Laura is also an active member of Triage’s Knowledge Group and Publications team. Outside of work, Laura thrives on traveling the world, trying new food, playing volleyball, and enjoying beautiful San Francisco.

Lauren joined Triage in 2011 and was promoted to PRT Manager in 2016. Lauren oversees 15+ projects across a 5 person team of PRT Seniors and Analyst II's in addition to managing the complete intake process for follow-up and billing accounts. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys being outdoors, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
- Lindsay WolfLindsay Wolf
RSG ManagerLindsay joined Triage in 2010 after working in the Hospitality industry for close to 10 years. She earned promotion to RSG Manager in 2017, and now oversees a new Write Off QA process in the Atlanta office, specialized research for the VA, and provides payer specific answers to anyone with a question. She spends most of her non-project time assisting with Culture events as well as onboarding new Analysts. Lindsay enjoys spending time with her kids and husband, cooking, spending time outdoors, and going to see live music.

ManagerMary Elizabeth joined Triage in 2013 after graduating from the University of Georgia with a BBA in Marketing and a BSE in Sports Management. Mary Elizabeth was promoted to Manager in 2018 and has led projects for nationwide hospital chains as well as private facilities in Georgia, New Jersey, Texas, and Pennsylvania. In addition to overseeing projects, Mary Elizabeth is involved in the Atlanta Culture squad, and also assists in leading trainings for new seniors. Outside of work, Mary Elizabeth enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with friends, family, and her dog.
- Mike Van BeekMike Van Beek
Mike graduated from California State University, Fresno with a BA in Business Marketing in 2010 and was promoted to Manager in 2016. While at Triage, Mike has worked with many different large hospital systems that have facilities in states such as Washington, Oregon, Hawaii, California, Nebraska, Iowa, Tennessee, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Michael learned invaluable work ethic and relationship skills from the many different occupations he has had in his lifetime including Restaurant Server, Warehouse Manager, Solar Panel Builder, Record Store Employee, Smoothie Maker, and Pizza Delivery Driver. In his spare time, Michael enjoys reading, watching sports, playing golf, and talking about Fresno.
- Rachelle PuccioniRachelle Puccioni
ManagerRachelle joined Triage Consulting Group in 2012 after graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a BS in Business Administration and a concentration in Accounting. She has conducted payment reviews for some of the largest health systems in California, Texas, and Oregon, including a Workers’ Compensation Revenue Management engagement. During her time at Cal Poly, Rachelle was a board member and Treasurer of the Cal Poly Waterski Team as well as a Peer Academic Advisor for the Orfalea College of Business. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, skiing, ATV riding and playing board games.

Sam is also an active member of Triage’s Knowledge Group. Outside of work, Sam enjoys following Bay Area sports, traveling, and playing golf.
- Spencer GoodwinSpencer Goodwin
ManagerSpencer joined Triage in 2012 and was promoted to Manager in 2017. He has led payment review projects for multi-facility health systems in California, Washington, and Texas, as well as Workers’ Compensation and litigation support engagements. Spencer is a member of Triage’s Applications Group, specializing in internal pricing tools for outpatient Medicare and Medicaid. Prior to joining Triage, Spencer attended UC San Diego where he majored in Political Science. Outside of work, Spencer is an avid music fan, backpacker, and traveler.

ManagerWill joined Triage in 2011 after graduating from UC San Diego with a degree in literature. - Billy TrujilloBilly Trujillo
Business Development ManagerBilly Joined Triage Consulting Group in 2013 as an Associate after completing his undergraduate degree at The University of Georgia with a BBA degree in Finance. During 5 years in the Associate and Senior Associate role at Triage Consulting Group, Billy has conducted comprehensive payment review projects for hospitals across several states, including Georgia, North Carolina, Florida, Alabama, Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia, Michigan, and Texas. After gaining valuable payer reimbursement and hospital revenue cycle experience on these projects, Billy transitioned to the Business Development Manager position in 2018 and currently oversees engagements in Massachusetts. Also, Billy leads Triage’s Green Squad in the Atlanta Office, a squad dedicated to sustainability initiatives for the office. Currently Billy is seeking his MBA from The Scheller College of Business at Georgia Tech and is an active member of the Massachusetts-Rhode Island HFMA Chapter. Billy was born and raised in the Atlanta area and continues to live there today with his dog, Grady. In his free time, he enjoys going to the park with Grady and eating at new restaurants around town.

Senior Vice President of Business DevelopmentJorge Fernandez joined Triage Consulting Group on March 19, 2018 as the Senior Vice President of Business Development after serving as the Business Development Principal at Availity. Jorge is a graduate from Texas A & M University where he received a BBA in Management with a focus in Marketing in 1982. In his 35+ years of experience in revenue cycle, Jorge has worked for CHRISTUS, HCA, UHS and LifeCare as an Auditor, Accounts Receivable Analyst, Assistant Director Business Office, Business Office Director and Interim VP Revenue Cycle ranging from a 74-bed hospital to a 27 hospital/10-state healthcare system. Jorge has also represented McKesson, MASH-a Patient Matters company, Vizient, MedAssets, Deloitte, Protiviti and Availity in various business development and consulting roles. Jorge currently serves as Vice President of the HFMA Lone Star Chapter and was part of the National HFMA 2.0 Education Task Force. In his spare time, Jorge enjoys spending time with his family, lawn and gardening, ranching, various community volunteer activities and mentoring through HFMA at a local, regional and national level.
- Lauren BeardLauren Beard
Business Development ManagerLauren joined Triage Consulting Group in 2011 and has since managed engagements for over 100 hospitals in Florida, Tennessee, Ohio, and Texas. She currently oversees Comprehensive Payment Review projects for hospitals in New Jersey and has extensive experience with payer reimbursement analytics and specialized contract modeling projects. Lauren also oversees social responsibility efforts in Triage’s Atlanta office, and leads internal trainings on Customer Relationship Management and Negotiations. She is an active member of HFMA in Philadelphia and New Jersey. Upon graduating from the University of Georgia, Lauren earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, focused in Marketing, along with a certificate in Music Business. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys attending concerts, playing piano and guitar, skiing, and tennis.
- Terri TilleryTerri Tillery
Senior Vice President of Business Development
Terri joined Triage Consulting Group in 2009, and has extensive knowledge of revenue cycle management services gleaned from her over twenty-seven years of experience as a healthcare industry sales and client services executive. She brings this vast history to her role at Triage, including her volunteer and elected roles in HFMA. After joining HFMA in 1987, she served the Georgia Chapter in a variety of roles, including President, remaining active today. She’s an Advanced member, has received the Follmer Bronze, Reeves Silver, Muncie Gold and Medal of Honor Founders Awards, as well as numerous National HFMA Yerger Awards. In addition, Terri was awarded the Ann P. Longshore Distinguished Service Award and is a three-time recipient of the Charles H. Anderson President’s Award for her hard work and dedication to the Chapter. She resides in the Atlanta area with her daughter, Madison Moreland, spending most of her leisure time doing family activities and travel softball with Madison.
